Job summary

The Children’s Place in Lakeland, Florida is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing procedures, and Leader on Duty duties. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years previous retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through training of associates and in-the-moment coaching.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during annual reviews.
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and create a positive store environment.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service behaviors on the sales floor.
• Represent the company professionally and positively.
• Support management to maximize productivity through operations and product knowledge, customer service and store initiatives.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) program and drive store profitability while managing payroll.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized stockroom and adhere to policies.
• Ensure CRE Standards & Safety requirements are met.
