Job summary

The Children’s Place in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap, opening/closing procedures, and Leader on Duty (LOD) responsibilities. You will embody the brand, engage customers, and drive store performance while developing teammates.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail experience, a high school diploma, and a strong ability to communicate, coach, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years retail experience preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Leadership by performing cash-wrap, opening and closing procedures.
• Lead on Duty (LOD) duties to enhance customer experience and store profitability.
• Coach and develop associates, provide timely performance feedback.
• Maintain store standards and stockroom organization; ensure CRE and safety compliance.
