Job summary

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder to support Retail Operations. This role opens and closes the store, assists during peak volumes, and mentors new team members while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will handle cash, operate registers, verify ages, and help manage inventory and losses. A strong team player with basic math skills and the ability to lift 49 pounds is ideal.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with fluid schedules; be available during peak hours of operation and availability to support stores on nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
• Team-oriented mentality.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of the products and services.
• Open and close the store; assist in the absence of management and support new employees.
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as restocking merchandise, conducting inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies.
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Follow proper age verification policies.
• Ensure prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts.
• Process refunds and exchanges.
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including bag checks and security adherence.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist in keeping shelves, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms tidy.
• Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
