Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Ohio to lead daily store operations, drive customer service, and supervise staff under the Store Manager’s direction. You will manage cashiering, training, scheduling, and merchandising to maximize profitability while protecting assets.

Ideal candidates have retail experience and supervisory exposure, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and leadership abilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings for employees.
• Manage merchandise stock, planograms, and inventory.
• Ensure cashier accountability and cash handling procedures.
