Job summary

Buff City Soap is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to energize a fast-paced Makery and lead a high-energy team. You will drive store performance, ensure exceptional client experiences and uphold operational excellence to meet productivity goals. You will supervise Makery activities and guide staff toward quality product delivery.

The role offers nights/weekends as needed, with a 30–45 hour schedule, and a focus on coaching, integrity, and customer satisfaction in a vibrant retail setting.

Qualifications

• College education preferred but not required.
• Management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Skilled Trainer, motivator, and leadership qualities desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily Makery operations and maintain a client-centric environment.
• Lead by example in sales, product quality and service delivery.
• Maintain a clean, professional Makery space and store area.
• Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Manage stock of materials, finished goods and supplies; track inventory.
• Support Store Manager with revenue, expenses and reports.
• Work nights and weekends; five days per week with 30–45 hour schedule.
