Job summary

Buff City Soap Midwest is seeking a Shift Leader to support a customer-centric environment, partnering with the GM and Assistant Manager to meet Guest service standards. The role includes supervising the Makery, training, coaching, and maintaining a positive store culture.

Weekends are required. The position supports production, safety, and daily store operations while driving sales and team performance in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
• Available to open and close store as needed.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays.
• 18 years old or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Foster a customer experience culture that is positive and informative.
• Drive to meet or exceed sales goals and average transaction.
• Communicate daily priorities, goals and initiatives to team.
• Train new team members in Buff City Soap's core 4 scripts.
• Coach team members with praise and guidance.
• Ensure products are made to production standards.
• Create daily production lists for store team.
• Lead team in safety and policy adherence.
• Support opening/closing duties and cash handling.
• Assist in marketing events as needed.
