Job summary

Buff City Soap is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead Makery operations and deliver exceptional client experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise daily activities, drive sales, and uphold operational excellence to meet goals.

As a key member of the store team, you will coach staff, manage inventory, and support the Store Manager with revenue and expense controls, while maintaining a clean, welcoming shop atmosphere.

Qualifications

• College education preferred but not required.
• Management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Skilled Trainer, motivator, and leadership qualities desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Makery daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and achieve sales goals.
• Maintain professional, clean Makery environment.
• Set clear goals and coach team members.
• Provide training and feedback to improve performance.
• Manage stock of raw materials, products, and supplies.
• Generate sales reports and assist with inventory and production.
• Support Store Manager in revenue and expense control.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Work five days per week, 30–45 hours depending on status.
