Buff City Soap is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to sustain a high-energy, client-centric environment and exceed productivity goals. You will supervise Makery operations, drive sales, and lead by example in all company activities.

The role emphasizes coaching, training, and maintaining cleanliness, while managing stock and reporting. Nights and weekends work are expected, with a five-day week and 30–45 hours based on status.

Qualifications

• College education preferred but not required.
• Management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Skilled Trainer, motivator, and leadership qualities desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily Makery operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales goals.
• Maintain a professional, impeccably clean Makery environment.
• Set clear goals for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Manage stock of raw materials, finished products and supplies.
• Generate sales reports and assist with inventory and production.
• Help Store Manager control revenue and expenses.
• Work nights and weekends as required.
• Five days per week, ~30–45 hours, depending on status.
