Sweet Action Ice Cream is seeking a Store Lead for our Jefferson Park parlor in Denver. You will supervise daily operations, coach staff, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining safety and inventory controls.

The role includes scheduling, assisting in onboarding, and reporting to the Regional Store Manager. Candidates should be ready for evenings/weekends and have leadership experience in a food-service setting.

Job description

Sweet Action is looking for a Store Lead to be a rock in our ice cream operations at our parlor at our Jefferson Park store. As a Store Lead, you would assist in the successful operation of one of our amazing ice cream parlors. This includes providing excellent customer service, instilling Sweet Action culture in the team, helping evaluate new team members, scheduling, food safety, inventory, regulatory compliance, store efficiency and optimization, and reporting.

Compensation

This is a dual role position that consists of:

• Store Lead – a non-tipped role at $23 – $28 hourly DOE for admin work such as inventory, scheduling, etc. (3-5hrs/week)
• Lead Scooper – a tipped role that at $16.27/hr + tips (averages $23 – $28 after tips)

Position Requirements

• 18 years old or older
• Prior leadership experience
• Open availability, Monday – Sunday
• Able to work 35+ hours a week with a focus on evenings and weekends

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Leadership of a professional, fun and positive customer experience
• Assistance evaluating new team members and ultimately training and coaching them.
• Setup the team work schedule including helping address call-outs or other scheduling issues.
• Compliance with safety, sanitation and other regulations or policies outlined by local, state and federal agencies or specified within Sweet Action company policy.
• Help management control inventory, waste and spending
• Assist with ordering supplies, commodities and associated products
• Maintain portion control and weekly and monthly reports as required
• Communicate with Regional Store Manager to implement improvements or changes, issues and concerns relating to ice cream menu items, service, menus, recipes, policies, operational procedures, facilities and equipment
• Maintain and report to Regional Store Manager; temperature logs, receiving logs and packing lists, inventory control logs, store self‑assessment audits and sales data
• Report issues or customer incidents to Regional Store Manager as necessary
