Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Key Carrier at Homesense in Stony Brook, NY. This role alternates with a Coordinator and leads in-store duties while maintaining excellent customer service.

Open availability is required, including nights and weekends. Candidates should be team players with strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills to support store operations daily.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and at least 6 months leadership experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines.
• Provides coaching and feedback to Associates to improve performance.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas.
• Promotes safety and shrink-reduction initiatives.
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs.
