Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Norman, OK (HomeGoods) is seeking a Key Carrier who will alternate with a Coordinator role, lead store operations, and maintain outstanding customer service.

This role requires open availability including nights and weekends and involves acting as Manager on Duty while coaching Associates and ensuring coverage and adherence to policies. Responsibilities include supporting opening/closing procedures, communicating priorities, and contributing to a positive work

Qualifications

• A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.
• Strong team player with ability to adapt to direction and changing priorities.
• Proven problem solving skills and ability to coach and delegate.
• Knowledge of store software, systems, and procedures.
• Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores and adherence to policies.
• Experience in retail with leadership exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive customer experience both inside and outside the store.
• Act as Manager on Duty following company policy and procedures.
• Ensure proper associate coverage and task execution per store plan.
• Provide coaching and feedback to associates and recognize performance.
• Communicate priorities effectively with management and team members.
• Support adherence to labor laws and safety standards.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs and shrink reduction goals.
• Lead by example to maintain opening/closing procedures.
• Partner with management on training needs to improve effectiveness.
• Other duties as assigned.
