Job summary

TJX Companies in Pompano Beach is hiring a Key Carrier who blends leadership with hands-on store operations. You will alternate between Coordinator and Key Carrier roles, ensure open availability, including nights and weekends, and model exceptional customer service.

You will supervise tasks, coach Associates, maintain store procedures, manage opening/closing, and partner with management to address priorities while meeting safety and labor guidelines. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• 1 year retail experience, 6 months leadership experience.
• Proven problem-solving and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides appropriate coaching to Associates
• Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
