Job summary

Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Key Carrier to elevate store leadership, predominantly serving as Coordinator and occasionally as Key Carrier. Open availability—nights and weekends—is required, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and coaching Associates.

You will be part of a team across TJX brands, contributing to store operations, policies, and safety while maintaining positive customer experiences and adherence to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes honesty and integrity and maintains confidentiality.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates.
• Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines.
• Communicates with management and Associates when setting priorities; provides progress updates.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates.
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
