Job summary

Turkey Hill Minit Markets is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and lead a high-energy team. This full-time role focuses on guest service, training, and ensuring a great shopping experience for guests.

The position primarily covers second shifts and weekends/holidays, with expectations to maintain store appearance, stock levels, food service areas, and safety standards. Requires 1 year retail/food experience; High School or GED; ServSafe a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail or food experience – must complete Assistant Manager Training program before assigned in this role.
• High School or GED.
• ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.
• Desired previous experience: 2 years retail management.

Responsibilities

• Manages the store team’s Guest Service behaviors and coaches staff to greet guests warmly and resolve issues to make it right.
• Support the Store Manager in training, scheduling, coaching, and building a strong team that upholds company values.
• Partner with Store Manager to achieve operational excellence and hit promotions and sales targets.
• Assist with store appearance and cleanliness, coffee station, food service area, and bathrooms.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, safety programs, and stock levels to maintain 100% in-stock.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or in their absence.
• Must perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
