Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager, delivering friendly customer service and promoting teamwork.

Responsibilities include closing procedures, cash reconciliation, daily sales reporting, receiving and stocking donations, and maintaining textiles tagging. Strong supervisory experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Available to work most store hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience with cash handling and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports.
• Cash register / customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations; may lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift 10–35 pounds.
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.
