Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Lead Associate in Winston-Salem, NC to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring friendly customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include closing the store, reconciling cash, maintaining daily sales records, handling donations, pricing, stocking, and textile tagging; a High School Diploma is preferred and supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lead or supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.
