Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager. You will model friendly customer service, supervise staff, and manage fast-paced operations with integrity.

The role requires supervisory experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. You may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds in daily tasks as part of receiving and stocking donations.

Qualifications

• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work most store hours including evenings and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports; conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations (occasional lifts up to 50 lb, frequently 10–35 lb).
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in production setting.
