Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of management. You will demonstrate commitment to friendly customer service, integrity, and a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cash reconciliation, record keeping, register operation, donation processing, and textile tagging. A High School Diploma or equivalent and prior supervisory experience are preferred; evening and weekend hours are common.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in supervisory roles is required.
• Customer service and cash handling experience are valued.

Responsibilities

• Closes store and reconciles cash with daily sales reports.
• Maintains opening/closing records and conducts store inspections as needed.
• Handles cash register operations and assists customers.
• Receives, prices and stocks donations (lift up to 50 pounds occasionally).
• Tagging and inspection of textiles and clothing in production setting.
