Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. (Goodwill) is seeking a Lead Associate at our Conover Retail location. You will provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring friendly customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and lead or supervisory experience. Work hours include evenings and weekends; the pay is $16.50 per hour. Join a mission-driven nonprofit with strong benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.
