Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager. You will supervise staff, manage cash handling, and ensure smooth operations during evenings and weekends.

The role requires prior supervisory experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. The position involves stocking donations and textile tagging in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations. (Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.)
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.
