Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring friendly customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires integrity, resourcefulness, and ability to manage multiple tasks, including cash handling, record-keeping, and donation processing. Evening and weekend availability is needed.

Qualifications

• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and frequently 10–35 pounds when receiving donations.

Responsibilities

• Close store, reconcile cash with daily sales reports and secure facility for night.
• Prepare and maintain records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports; conduct inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations with occasional heavy lifting.
