Dollar General Corporation is hiring a Cashier/Stocker who may lead in the absence of store management. You will unload trucks, stock and display merchandise, assist customers, and handle cash transactions while maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandising guidance.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise according to store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise on shelves and build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and process payments; bag merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized front end and store area.
