Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can lead in the absence of store management and provide exemplary customer service. You will stock, rotate, and merchandise displays, and assist with plan-o-gram maintenance. You will also handle cash, operate the cash register, and help maintain store cleanliness and security.

The role requires strong math, cash handling, and customer service skills, with opportunities to guide cashiers and assist management during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock shelves, rotate and face merchandise.
• Assist customers and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
• Open/close store under direction of Area Manager and maintain cash control.
