Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Experience with IBM cash register functions.
• Familiarity with safety and loss prevention policies.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to read plan-o-grams and merchandise presentations.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock returned merchandise and maintain displays.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Greet customers and assist in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and handle payments.
• Keep front end clean and organized; manage curbside/sidewalk displays as needed.
• Provide superior customer service leadership when required.
• Ensure store policies and loss prevention procedures are followed.
