Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, customer-first store and lead by example in daily operations. Responsibilities include assisting customers, operating a cash register, stocking and rotating merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

In this role you will perform duties of a Sales Associate and, in the Store Manager's or Assistant Store Manager's absence, act in a lead capacity to ensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic math skills including percentages and cash handling.
• Experience operating a cash register and scanner.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and deposit procedures.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, and build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
