Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Georgia to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate a cash register, stock merchandise, and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to follow planograms, basic math, and cash handling experience. You may open/close the store and perform duties in the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, and build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom; and set up sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties typically performed by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
