Dollar General in Somerset, NJ seeks a Lead Sales Associate to provide customer-focused service and act as a lead when the Store Manager is unavailable. You will manage cash transactions, stock shelves, and help maintain clean, organized store conditions while supporting planogram execution.

The role requires basic supervisory experience, strong communication, and reliability in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a full-time position at a Dollar General location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Experience in retail or store operations is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner, total purchases, and make change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate displays per planograms.
• Clean store, take out trash, and maintain a presentable shopping area.
• Open and close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
