Dollar General in Reading, PA seeks a Lead Sales Associate to run a clean, customer-focused store, help customers locate and purchase items, operate the register, stock and rotate merchandise, and support the Store Manager to maximize profitability while safeguarding assets.

The role combines Sales Associate duties with lead responsibilities in the Store Manager or Assistant Manager’s absence, including opening/closing and enforcing merchandising standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising guides.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and cash handling.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize totals and process payments.
• Stock, rotate and recover merchandise; build displays and follow planograms.
• Clean the store and assist with opening/closing duties as directed.
• Support in implementing and maintaining planograms and merchandising standards.
• Perform duties of a Sales Associate and lead in manager's absence.
