Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a capable Cashier/Stocker to lead in the absence of management, assist with plan-o-grams, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to store process.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise and rotate on shelves.
• Restock returned merchandise and maintain displays.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Greet customers and maintain a clean front end of store.
• Monitor cash levels and assist with cash control procedures.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation on time.
