Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to supervise front-line operations and ensure excellent customer service. You will help customers locate and purchase merchandise, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and maintain a clean store environment.

The role involves acting as a lead in the absence of Store Manager, opening/closing responsibilities, and supporting planogram adherence to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six months supervisory or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to follow store processes and planograms accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and handle payments and bagging.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, build displays, and unpack shipments.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist in sidewalk displays setup.
• Assist in planogram implementation and store opening/closing duties.
• Perform duties in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
