Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading daily operations, sales, and customer service. This role oversees staff, ensures coverage during peak times, and drives service excellence across the store.

You will coach team members, assist in hiring, and manage training to improve performance and customer satisfaction. A strong emphasis on process, safety, and store appearance is required.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification is desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise showroom customer service programs and related sales initiatives.
• Assist the store manager with staffing and peak-hour coverage.
• Coach and mentor team members; participate in hiring and interviews.
• Ensure orders, returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Perform opening/closing duties and security procedures.
• Maintain store appearance and equipment; support management on store operations.
