Job summary

The role also involves leading in the absence of the Store Manager and performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise guides.
• Strong basic math and calculation skills.
• Experience with cash register functions and transactions.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and cashier accountability.
• Willingness to drive own vehicle to the bank for deposits.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner; total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays; follow planograms.
• Clean the store; manage trash, dust, and floors; prep sidewalk displays.
• Open/close the store under Store Manager direction.
• Perform duties of Sales Associate in the Store Manager/Asst. Manager's absence.
