Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and help with displays under Store Manager guidance.

This role requires reliable, customer‑oriented individuals who can manage checkout tasks, perform basic calculations, and support store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and apply planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic math skills for transactions and discounts.
• Experience with cash register and payment processing.
• Knowledge of cash handling and deposit procedures.
• Reliable transportation for bank deposits if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, rotate displays, and assist with planograms.
• Clean the store, take out trash, and maintain restrooms and stockroom.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Assist in duties typically performed by Store Manager in their absence.
