Job summary

The Children's Place in Tucson is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by completing cash-wrap operations, opening and closing procedures, and serving as Leader on Duty (LOD).

You will model brand standards, engage customers, coach associates, and help drive store profitability through teamwork and strong scheduling. This role requires 1–3 years of retail experience, a high school diploma, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years previous retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through training of associates and coaching conversations.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during annual reviews.
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and positive store environment.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.
• Support management to maximize productivity through operations, product knowledge, and customer service.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) program to drive store profitability while managing payroll.
• Process payroll weekly.
• Modify schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain clean, organized stockroom and adhere to policies.
• Ensure CRE standards and safety requirements are met.
