The Children’s Place in Queenstown, Maryland seeks a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing procedures, and Leader on Duty duties. You will represent the brand, engage customers, uphold store standards, and support teamwork and employee development.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1–3 years of retail experience, with strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in coaching or mentoring staff is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assist in developing talent through training of associates and coaching conversations.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during daily routines and annual reviews.
• Motivate associates to build brand loyalty and create positive store environment.
• Model exceptional customer service and maintain brand standards on the sales floor.
• Support management to maximize productivity through operations and product knowledge.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) program to enhance customer experience and drive profitability.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain clean, organized stockroom and ensure safety standards are met.
