Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to ensure a clean, customer-first store environment and assist customers with locating and purchasing merchandise. This role includes operating the cash register, stocking products, and maintaining store standards while supporting the Store Manager in leadership duties.

The position emphasizes supervision in the absence of management, adherence to planograms, and safe, efficient cash handling.

Formación

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including percentages.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and cashier accountability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, restock restroom and stockroom.
• Open and close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties typically done by Store Manager in their absence.
