The Children's Place in Peoria, IL is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by handling cash-wrap, opening/closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty (LOD). The role emphasizes brand representation, professional conduct, customer engagement, store standards, teamwork, and employee development.

Responsibilities span coaching, scheduling, payroll processing, and maintaining stockroom organization while upholding safety and CRE standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through coaching and training.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in all company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely, objective feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during daily and annual reviews.
• Motivate staff to build brand loyalty and positive store environment.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
• Support management to maximize productivity through knowledge and teamwork.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) to enhance customer experience and store profitability.
• Process payroll weekly.
• Adjust schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and adhere to policies.
