Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring a Lead Associate at the Elkin, NC store. This full-time, on-site position requires leadership in absence of store management and a strong commitment to friendly customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• HOURS: Associates should be available to work most store hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing and stocking donations. (Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.)
• Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production style setting.
