Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Lead Associate to provide store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring friendly customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires integrity, resourcefulness, and the ability to adapt to varied duties. Responsibilities include cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, record-keeping, and assisting with receiving, pricing, stocking donations, and textile tagging.

Qualifications

• Lead or supervisory experience required.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hours: Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially on evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits and opening/closing reports and conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
