Total Wine & More in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and building a customer-focused sales culture. You’ll report to the Store Manager and help manage payroll, inventory, merchandising, and staff development.

You will lead a team, drive KPIs, recruit and train staff, and ensure compliance with alcohol regulations. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required, with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of work experience; 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role in a retail setting.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving customer issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives; ensure compliance with laws related to alcohol sale.
