Job summary

Memphis Goodwill Inc. operates the McCullough Bookstore in Tupelo, MS, seeking a full-time Key Holder. The role involves opening and closing the store, delivering World Class customer service, handling POS transactions, and ensuring accurate daily reporting.

The position requires at least 6 months in retail or production, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Training on WESA and store procedures will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in retail/production.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform basic math and computer skills.
• Able to bend, reach, stand long periods and lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Open/close store as needed and support daily operations.
• Provide World Class customer service to donors and customers.
• Assist with cash register operations and price verification.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels on the sales floor.
• Record accurate counts for cash, donor and inventory reports.
• Price merchandise using baseline pricing and online research when needed.
• Rotate merchandise regularly to keep displays fresh.
• Coordinate transportation and maintenance needs as required.
• Support team with training, audits and end-of-day reporting.
