Job summary

Memphis Goodwill Industries Inc in Hernando, MS is hiring a Full Time Retail Associate at the Hernando-East GGC store. You will assist with daily store operations, greet customers, and handle sales at the register.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, at least 6 months retail experience, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and willingness to work evenings and weekends. Training on WESA and the Vender 21 POS system is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in the retail and production industry.
• Ability to communicate, orally and verbally, and perform basic mathematical skills and computer skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extensive periods of time, and lift up to 60lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently as required.
• Ability to motivate others, delegate job duties, and hold team members accountable for the completion of responsibilities.
• Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Goodwill policies and procedures; report safety hazards.
• Assist with day-to-day operations including opening/closing the store.
• Provide World Class Customer Service to all customers and donors; maintain mystery shop score of 85%+.
