Job summary

Alabama Goodwill Industries is seeking a dedicated Keyholder to oversee daily store operations, security, and customer/donor service. The role includes opening/closing the store, supervising staff, and supporting merchandising and inventory.

The Keyholder will provide mission-aligned service, ensure a positive experience for customers and donors, and help maintain loss prevention and safety protocols. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to AGI procedures.
• Manage alarm system and cash operations.
• Provide courteous, mission-focused service to customers and donors.
• Supervise associates during shifts and support training.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, and donation processing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Deter loss and report incidents to management.
