Memphis Goodwill Inc. in Tupelo, MS is seeking a part-time Donation Center Attendant at McCullough Bookstore ADC to greet donors, sort donations, and support site operations.

The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy in donor tracking, safety, and collaboration with the Transportation team and ADC leadership.

This position offers casual manual labor and requires dependable work ethic; training and safety guidelines are provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensures 100% donor and customer delight.
• Greets donors promptly within 10 seconds and explains donation unloading and tax receipts.
• Ensures donated items remain Memphis Goodwill property and aren’t used personally during processing.
• Breaks down donations into categories.
• Maintains drive-through and ADC site per image and safety standards.
• Orders and maintains supplies efficiently and secures them for use.
• Adheres to Memphis Goodwill policies and safety practices; reports hazards/injuries.
• Ensures accurate donor tracking and counts.
• Ensures proper use and reporting of on-hand equipment.
• Works safely with material handling equipment and communicates hazards.
• Supports Transportation team with equipment delivery/pick-up when possible.
• Communicates with trainers/leadership; assists ADC peers as needed.
• May participate in activities outside of Goodwill.
• Attends in-service and related training as assigned; performs other duties as needed.
