Job summary

Cavender's is seeking a Key Carrier to join the Store Management Team in driving daily operations and customer service excellence. You will open/close, assist customers, and guide team members to meet sales goals while upholding Cavender's culture.

You will supervise associates, handle store issues, and contribute to loss prevention and safe operations, with a focus on presenting a clean, organized store and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender's Culture and drive Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Be able to perform the tasks of a Cashier and Sales Associate.
• Maintain active role in personal selling, meeting or exceeding sales per hour goals.
• Act as Manager on Duty as assigned.
• Assist in day-to-day management of the retail store and supervise associates to deliver Best of the WEST customer service and drive sales.
• Open and close store as directed.
• Address customer complaints.
• Handle returns and exchanges.
• Address associate assignments and concerns.
• Assist in increasing sales, maintaining profit structure, and reducing controllable expenses using key metrics.
• Assist in the training of store associates.
• Help keep the store looking clean and well-presented inside and outside.
• Contribute to a safe and secure store environment and report safety/security incidents promptly.
• Understand and execute all company policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in Loss Prevention measures in the store.
• Any other duties as assigned.
