Meijer Inc. is seeking a Store HR Representative to provide HR support and guidance to store leadership on staffing, onboarding, employee relations, and retention.

You will partner with store leadership and regional HR to implement HR goals and policies across the store environment. The role requires coordinating staffing processes, driving engagement through onboarding, training, and HR initiatives, and ensuring effective communication with all team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in HR preferred.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to work independently.
• Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to facilitate both small and large groups.
• Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Schedule flexibility when business needs exist.

Responsabilités

• Assist with staffing, interviewing and selection for leadership and non-leadership roles in the store.
• Oversee effective orientation, onboarding and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Champion engagement through key HR initiatives and programs.
• Communicate effectively to all team members and support leadership in follow-up.
• Assist in reporting and analysis related to talent management and total rewards.
• Provide guidance on career development resources and progress tracking for team members.
• Provide consultation on employee relations activities and dispute resolution with leadership.
• Assist with investigations and resolution of employee complaints or policy violations.
• Support policies and procedures covering employee relations, compensation, benefits, and disability management.
• Support HR Market Managers with projects as needed.
