Job summary

Gap Inc. seeks a General Manager to lead a store team, drive profitability, and translate brand vision into daily operations. You will oversee Customer Operations, Merchandising, Product Operations and talent development to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.

You will coach, forecast, schedule, manage budgets and implement SOPs while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture that meets or exceeds goals and engages the community.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail leadership experience.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results and drive KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to deliver a profitable store business plan.
• Drive profitable sales through forecasting and scheduling.
• Manage store budget for daily operations.
• Build highly productive teams through sourcing and development.
• Coach and provide feedback to optimize performance.
• Teach and train to build capabilities across the store.
• Lead SOP implementation and new initiatives.
• Create an inclusive environment for customers and staff.
• Maximize efficiencies and productivity through action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and represent the brand.
• Promote community involvement and OMNI customer experience.
• Ensure compliance standards are met.
