Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Opelika, AL is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to drive personal and store sales, lead a team of up to 15, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role reports to store leadership and oversees day-to-day sales operations.

You will align merchandising, pricing, and product flow to standards; manage the store’s profitability, develop team members, and execute growth strategies to achieve revenue goals while maintaining high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in a sales retail environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; strong financial understanding; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train sales teams to improve techniques and performance.
• Manage full employee lifecycle including recruitment, training, and succession planning.
• Ensure store profitability through P&L oversight and margin management.
