Community Choice Financial® Family of Brands is hiring a General Manager for CheckSmart in Canton, MI. You will lead daily operations, drive revenue growth, ensure compliance, and deliver world-class customer service while coaching a team across the store.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail, finance, service, or related industries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale systems, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding company standards.
• Coach, lead, and develop team members to grow the business and ensure great customer service.
• Identify local marketing opportunities and build revenue through partnerships and community events.
• Handle loan/pawn applications, transactions, and assess risk within limits.
• Enforce compliance with quality standards and local regulations.
• Participate in audits and maintain cash management and loss prevention.
• Open/close procedures and training for keyholder duties.
• Assist in hiring and scheduling to meet store needs.
• Maintain store appearance and code compliance, including planograms and promos.
