Job summary

Global Partners LP in Scarborough, ME is seeking a General Manager to lead store operations, cultivate a high-performing team and deliver outstanding Guest experiences aligned with the Global brand promise.

This hands-on leadership role requires ServSafe or equivalent certification within 90 days, at least five years in retail/hospitality management, and a proven ability to drive sales, profitability and community engagement.

Qualifications

• ServSafe or approved Food Safety Certification within 90 days of employment or promotion.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive retail, restaurant or hospitality management experience; multi-department or full-store leadership preferred.
• Proven success in team leadership, operations management and financial performance.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to uphold Global mission and Four Pillars.
• Inspire, develop and empower management and associate teams to deliver exceptional Guest service and operational performance.
• Oversee store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, brand standards and safety requirements.
• Drive financial performance by managing labor, inventory and operating costs effectively.
• Build a culture of collaboration, accountability and hospitality and engage with the local community.
• Ensure food service quality, freshness and allergen control across outlets.
